Robbie Kruithoff is a multi-award-winning filmmaker, producer, writer, and storyteller whose work lives at the intersection of culture, identity, and human connection. As the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Wrong Turn Productions, Robbie develops, produces, and writes films and creative projects designed to challenge convention, spark conversation, and resonate far beyond the screen. Officially launched at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, Robbie is partnering with Oscar-, Academy-, and Emmy-award winning production teams, and working on projects with some of the most renown figures in film including Pamela Anderson, Guy Pearce, Zoe Saldaña, and more. Blending creative vision with an entrepreneurial mindset, he plays an active role in shaping both the artistic and business direction of the company, leading financing, partnerships, fundraising, and long-term growth strategy across its slate.

At the center of Robbie’s work is a passion for emotionally driven storytelling that explores faith, belonging, resilience, sexuality, and cultural tension. Shaped in part by his own journey through homelessness, addiction, and rebuilding his life, his work often focuses on stories that feel deeply personal while tapping into larger cultural conversations. Having lived in communities around the world, he brings a global perspective to his work and a deep curiosity about the experiences that connect people across cultures and backgrounds. His work spans narrative feature film, documentary, television, and long-form writing, all rooted in a desire to challenge perspectives, foster empathy, and build community through shared human experience.

Before entering the entertainment industry, Robbie built his career in hospitality, fundraising, nonprofit leadership, and operations, experiences that continue to shape his audience-first approach to both storytelling and business. He is also an active supporter of organizations focused on arts education, housing, hunger relief, global citizenship, and LGBTQ+ advocacy, including the United Nations Association, No Kid Hungry, Habitat for Humanity, the American Film Institute, DIFFA, and other community-based initiatives. Beyond film and television, Robbie remains passionate about writing, philanthropy, and creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue across communities and perspectives.
